Grace Wiebe
A lifelong student of music herself, Grace is a firm believer in the importance of music education and the value it adds to your life. Alongside her studies in science at McGill University, Grace pursued her interest in cello, voice, and theatre performance, and she continues to seek out community groups to perform with in London. Grace has been working in arts administration roles for over 5 years, and she is thrilled to be able to use her experience to support the talented team of teachers at London South.
Our Theory Teachers:

Alex Huggins (Piano, Theory)
Alex graduated from Western University with an MA (Musicology), BMus (Theory & Composition), and a BA (Major in Popular Music Studies). He has also completed the ARCT Piano Performance with the Royal Conservatory of Music. Other music-related interests include electronic music production and performance. Alex aims to create a relaxed and enjoyable studio environment, while drawing from years of experience to attain high standards of musical technique and comprehension. With 8 years of teaching experience, Alex hopes to help students of all ages find their voice through music and to gain the knowledge and confidence to achieve their goals. Emilie Nikota (Violin, Viola, Theory)
Emilie Nikota has studied the violin for nearly 20 years in London Ontario, and in that time has studied and graduated from the Music programs of St. Mary’s Choir and Orchestra School, Catholic Central Highschool Orchestra Program, and Forest City Talent Education (Orchestra and private study). She primarily focuses on teaching using the Suzuki method, but is happy to support students in studying alternate musical genres as well. She believes that the most important thing is encouraging a love of music that her students can take with them for their entire lives. Her rate is $23.00/half-hour private lessons.
