Grace Wiebe - coordinator of the music lessons in London South

Grace Wiebe

A lifelong student of music herself, Grace is a firm believer in the importance of music education and the value it adds to your life. Alongside her studies in science at McGill University, Grace pursued her interest in cello, voice, and theatre performance, and she continues to seek out community groups to perform with in London. Grace has been working in arts administration roles for over 5 years, and she is thrilled to be able to use her experience to support the talented team of teachers at London South.

Kelly Currie - Drums music lessons in London South

Kelly Currie (Drums)

Kelly holds a diploma in Music Industry Arts from Fanshawe College and has over 10 years experience working in the independent music communities of Toronto and London. Spending his college years teaching lessons and ‘wood-shedding’ in a variety of music projects, he is enthusiastic about sharing his extensive knowledge and passion for drums with anyone interested in picking up the sticks. Kelly is well-versed in many styles including Rock, Funk and Latin. He places an emphasis on groove, musicality and above all, having fun. His rate is $23.00/half-hour private lesson.

Mark Hamon - Drums music lessons in London South

Mark Hamon (Drums)

Mark Hamon has dedicated his musical life to playing and teaching the drums for over 40 years. From dance bands, theater, TV shows, commercials, CBC studio recording, film music (NFB), hundreds of bands of all sizes and styles, and yes, even a successful clown band, Mark has been involved with playing drums in all styles and venues. Mark has also published numerous articles on the history of percussion instruments. In 1995, his book, New Directions Around the Drums, was published by Hal Leonard Publications and is still selling world-wide. Mark’s drum lessons are designed to maximize each student’s abilities and potential in rock, jazz, latin and rudimental styles. His rate is $24.00/half-hour private lesson.

Robert Dougal - Drums music lessons in London South

Robert Dougal (Drums)

For thirty-five years Robert James Dougal has been a passionate student, player and performer of the drums. His love for music and interest in a wide range of genres continually inspires Robert to develop his own chops as a drummer, while pushing him to explore his own creative appetite as a musician. Whether performing in concert jazz bands, recording in his home studio or accompanying professionally signed artists, Robert approaches the drums with a joyful and positive attitude. He carries this ethos over to his teaching practice, ensuring that his students are reaching their goals, no matter the level of difficulty while stressing the importance of having fun at the same time. His rate is $23.00/per half-hour private lesson.
