Alex Doucet is a seasoned guitar, banjo, ukulele, and bass player with over 20 years’ experience. He is well versed in many musical styles including blues, bluegrass, country, rock, pop, and jazz. Alex is a passionate and dedicated teacher who works with students of all ages and skill levels. He provides guidance on musical notation, simple chord shapes, and more advanced rhythms and leads. He is happy to help students learn and grow, no matter their musical background. Alex’s rate for a half hour private lesson is $21.

Liam Keith-Jacques has a passion for teaching guitar and music theory to students of all ages and abilities. For over a decade, he has performed in various contexts including bluegrass bands, chamber ensembles, jazz groups and rock/metal bands. Liam has taught privately for almost 10 years. He is a patient teacher and is dedicated to passing on his love for the instrument. No matter what the particular goals of a student are, he will enthusiastically guide them on their musical journey. Marcus Balogh is a passionate classical guitarist, who has earned a four-year bachelor’s degree in classical music from the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He has played bass guitar in several bands over the past eight years in both Romania and Canada. Marcus taught guitar and bass guitar in a band setting for three years at The Beat Studio in Romania. He currently plays bass guitar at two local churches and performs with local jazz musicians. Marcus’s rate for a half hour private lesson is $22.

Nick Bell has a diploma from the Centre of Arts and Technology where he studied recording arts, music theory, composition and music business. Nick has been playing drums for over 15 years, and bass for over 5 years. He has learned from several local musicians within Fredericton & Moncton. A main influence for him is Progressive Rock & Metal. Nick has played in several bands throughout New Brunswick. With over 4 years teaching experience, Nick has the confidence to teach students of all ages, levels and styles. Nick’s rate for a half hour private lesson is $23.

Patrick Gushue is a self-taught, multi-instrumentalist specializing in mandolin, electric bass, banjo and fiddle. He plays in several local bands, and has been teaching privately for the past 5 years. Patrick is well versed in multiple styles of music including bluegrass, old-time, country, rock, funk and blues. He is a passionate teacher who aims to help players of all ages and skill levels develop proper technique on their instrument, as well a repertoire of tunes, and skills in improvisation. Tim Lingley - Guitar music lessons in Fredericton

Tim Lingley (Guitar)

Tim Lingley has been a guitar player for 21 years, and has a multitude of musical influences including rock, blues, jazz, pop and more. He completed Recording Arts Foundation year at the Center for Arts and Technology in 2005, and went on to study Electrical Engineering at UNBF. Throughout that time, he played as a lead guitarist performing around the Fredericton area. Tim has a solid music theory knowledge and taught privately for several years before originally joining the Long and McQuade Lesson Centre in 2009. In both cases, he taught students of all ages, from beginner to advanced intermediate. Tim’s instructional methodology focuses on forming focused practice as a habit, and diversification of styles. Music theory would be a focus, so learning new musical techniques can be implemented in songwriting. He is happy to teach acoustic or electric guitar as a focus. Tim’s rate for a half hour private lesson is $22.
