Fantastic pedal with polarity switch.
Smooth feel, and silent operation.
I own two already and I'll be adding a third pedal this week.

I bought this sustain pedal in a mad rush after purchasing a MIDI controller keyboard that required one with a different, polarity. It is, as mentioned in the title, an excellent bargain. The build is quite solid and although the return is a little noisy, I certainly wouldn't qualify that as a reason to get mad and return it. If it actually bothers you (I hardly notice it because it doesn't matter for $30) you can always put a bit of felt and double-sided tape in there.
Otherwise, it feels great, responds fine and unlike many of my pedals in the past will not get stomped into broken plastic and transistor dust after a few years of play. Plugged in and worked. Bam, solid.

Although the pedal worked fine functionally, mine made a rather distracting tapping noise every time it was pressed. I even tried taping foam to it but it was still too loud and distracting. Whether this was a manufacturing error or a design flaw, I dont know, but I returned it. I'll simply use the pedal my keyboard came with

Although it functionally worked well, it made a very loud and cheap sounding tapping noise whenever I use the pedal. I'm going to return it.

I use this as a transmit foot switch for amateur radio use. It is solid, non-slip and trouble-free. So-called telecommunications foot switches usually cost two to three times the price of this switch and are not as rugged and as easy on the foot.

Bought this pedal 5 years ago. Since then it's probably had about 3500 hours of use. It's still as good as the day I bought it. Heavy, well built.

I bought this pedal for my wife's electric piano when the original one failed after a year of use and about three hours past warranty. Rather than buy another OEM one I chose the single Apex AFP-7 pedal to replace it. It looked heavier and sturdier. That was 5 years and about 3500 hours of playing ago. It is still as good as the day I bought it. The polarity switch means it can be used on any make of keyboard. Great product.
