We bought one of these ukuleles but ended up returning it after one day. The reason we returned it is that the nut was installed improperly. The nut was not flush with the body and the manufacturer filled the gaps with glue instead of regluing it properly. In other words, it was a shoddy job, and it's too bad because the rest of the ukulele is really nice.

I am a beginner but I love how this is sounding compared to other ukuleles I have heard. This is comfortable to look at and hold as well. Keeping one string in tune seems a fight every minute or so though and that is a bit annoying. It is teaching me to tune by ear, that is a positive. I guess what I should expect, to get strings that are gentler for my hands.

I went into L&M in Windsor just before Christmas to pick out my present. I was looking for a tenor ukulele and had done some research. I wasn?t ready to spend a lot but enough to get something decent. While there are kites of ukes on line, there are of course fewer in the store. I had something else in mind, but I tried all the ukes... even the sopranos and concerts. When I got to this one, the Leho tenor I was truly awed! It sounded different. It was warm yet it was clear and projected. I asked one of the sales guys who plays guitar, I think, although he had recently bought this same uke, to demonstrate this one and a few others. I?m still a beginner and wouldn?t do it justice. Hands down it was the winner.. it was Merry Christmas to me!! I play it probably 5 times a week and while I?m not good it is great fun. I?ve worked up enough nerve and a recognizable song list that I?ve recently played for some musician friends. This Uke is great value, good sound. It holds the tuning very well and for a considerable length of time. Even in between playing.Only wish it had a button for a strap!

Bought one because I spotted it and liked the way it looked on the rack. I was in the market for a tenor and once i tuned and played this in the store, I happily walked out with it under my arm... after paying for it first, of course.
tone is great, no buzzing, sturdy construction and although the strings on it weren't the best, it was ready to play out of the box.

I recently purchased this Leho Mahogany Tenor Ukulele from the Surrey Long and McQuade location. I can honestly say that this is by far the best Ukulele I have ever played in my life! This Tenor model has such a beautiful tone that is clear and the sound truly projects in the room when you strum, so you don't need to use a guitar pick. The size makes it truly easier to hold and there is lots of space between each fret for my fingers to move. Leho Ukuleles have arched backs curved in order for the sound to stand out. Since the back is curved like a seashell, the word "Leho" actually means seashell in Hawaiian. For those of you who are interested in a Ukulele with a truly amazing sound, definitely get the Leho as you will not be disappointed.
