I use this as a practice guitar since I am in an apartment I needed something I could play at all hours. This guitar does the job very well and I am quite happy with it. Yamaha did a great job emulating real acoustic sound. Coupled with the THR5A amp it’s really the next best thing to real acoustic. For some pieces having the ability to sustain and add effects it’s even better. It is also great for travel especially with the option to run on batteries. I think the only downsides for me is the thin profile. It’s not nearly as comfortable to play as a real acoustic classical and can even be a bit awkward, however it beats not practicing at all. I’m Also not really sure why they add a pic guard to these it’s not guarding anything and I think it would look nicer without this little plastic piece. it can be removed easily though which I will likely do. The guitar did have a few little hardly noticeable blemishes which I won’t lose sleep over but I dinged quality there. Hard to say how it happened. Functionally 10/10. In summary I would recommend this to a classical player that needs to practice quietly. I wouldn’t personally buy one for other reasons. For a stage guitar I’d prefer a nylon acoustic wth a preamp
