Having been impressed with the older version which has been discontinued, I took a chance and ordered the rosewood and mahogany versions to compare. The staff at the Sudbury store were great throughout the whole process.
The fit/finish and looks were outstanding and the guitar sounded even better than the previous version. I like the fact that the controls for the pickup have been simplified and take up less space on the sides, leaving more wood.
In the end I chose the mahogany version because it had a warmer, darker sound which had more personality in my opinion, although both sounded great.
