This dreadnought cutaway features a solid spruce top and remarkable, rare ziricote back and sides. Ziricote is a central American wood marked by beautiful grain that sometimes resembles landscapes. The tone is similar to rosewood, but with a more solid, sweet lower midrange content. The guitar features maple binding, abalone inlay and rosette, and cool old-school gold open-gear butterbean tuners. The guitar features Takamine's TP4TD electronics for ease of use on stage. This special guitar ships with a GB W gig bag as an extra value!

Very good sounding and looking guitar. The picture does not do it justice. You have to see it in person . Impressive. It was well worth the wait for delivery.

I bought this guitar about 4 months ago and am very happy with it, I own a Gibson J45, as well as an Epi DR100 (campfire guitar), and have owned several other acoustics in the past of all makes and models. For the 1100 bucks plus change taxes in, I think this is likely one of the finest mid-range guitars you could own, I upgraded the case with a hard shell, otherwise stock and I use it as much as my J45, and very pleased with it. I will also add that in my opinion, L&M Sydney is the best there is, bar none.

I love the sound and look of this guitar. I purchased it used from long and mquade and have to say I’m really impressed. It sounds great and looks amazing. Comfortable to play, well built. It’s odd there is not allot of reviews on the net for it. The only one that was somewhat negative was the one on this page. Everything else was really positive so I took the plunge and am very happy. Ziricote is amazing. I see a number of custom martins are being made with it now. I’m not sure how takamine can afford to build a guitar under 1000 with these features.

I was sadly disappointed with this guitar- it was an impulsive buy and I am regretting it . The bridge is outta wack , there's a u shaped indentation about 1 first sized wide in the neck , just overall feels weird to play this guitar, it is getting sold and I'll keep using my 300 dollar epiphone which I've had 5 years and plays better than this.
