Bought this to replace an aging Triton LE 76. The FA-07 keybed is actually fantastic, this was my first concern -- if it's not infinitely comfortable to play, I didn't feel I'd use it to its potential. I don't like the FA06 keys and am not particularly fond of the FA08 keys for piano (I guess I'm more of a Yamaha piano guy) but the keys on the FA-07 are comfortable and consistent. The rest likely applies to the entire FA-0[6-8] line -- sequencer is easy to use. Sound sets are great -- the addition of the Axial sounds, especially with the ability to import many Integra-7 sounds, plus the VA engine and sampling gives you a pretty limitless palette. Building custom tones, layers, and sound sets becomes effortless really quickly, so you can concentrate on making music instead of hunting for a manual. While I love the big tank-like older gen workstations, the FA-07 doesn't seem delicate and is easy to carry around. Worth buying a good case for it, but even the added cost of that doesn't offset (to me) that the entire package is a great value.
