Product Experience I own it

I’ve had mine for almost a year and took really good care of them ,I only used when producing/mixing and just out of no where the head phone snapped with no use of excessive force.
Read a lot of reviews and forums about the m70 and all have the same problem and break In the same spot!
Way to expensive for garbage construction.

Bought a pair almost exactly 2.5 years ago. Today, the left earphone snapped right off from me simply placing them on my head. I have babied the hell out of these and everything else is in immaculate condition. Looking closely, I now realize the frame holding the earpiece to the headband is just a tiny flimsy piece of plastic that narrows down to only 2mm each side of the pivot. That is some pretty shit build quality for $500 headphones.

There is one thing these headphones do well, and that is very good isolation from outside noise (and therefore very little bleed if you are using it during tracking).
However, these expensive headphones will literally crumble as you use them, and they sound terrible (very little response under 100 Hz). The spinning yoke of the earphones just shatters under mild studio usage. I thought maybe a client had broken the earphone on the one side until I left it hanging on a headphone stand for a weekend, and the other side just shattered under its own weight. It's this tiny plastic part holding the whole earphone in place.
I called support to find out what a replacement would cost. They want $270 to replace the headband, more than half of the price of the thing! So I'm buying new headphones.
