I have strung guitars with Chinese strings with better results. These were put on a Yamaha Transacoustic FG TA in early November. Used a couple of times and last night went to an acoustic jam. 5 minutes into a song POP!, The B went. Restrung. 5 minutes into another song POP! The D went. Restrung. 15 minutes later POP, the A went. Restrung. Half hour later POP, the G went. Fortunately I had a new set of Harley Benton 12s on me to save the night. Seasoned players watched in amazement at how easily they broke and asked what kind they were. Opening the storage lid there was the culprit....these strings. Absolute garbage. BTW they all broke at the saddle. The saddles are perfect, the strings are a total waste of money. I restring over a hundred times in a year and have NEVER had this many strings pop in the course of a night.
