A new era of mobile Android music making has arrived: iRig UA is the first digital effects processor and interface that gives guitarists, bass players and other musicians with Android devices high-quality sound and near-zero latency processing anytime and everywhere. It pairs with AmpliTube UA to deliver unmatched sonic performance when used with any smartphone or tablet with Android 4.2 or higher and that supports host mode/USB OTG. Now you can enjoy high-quality real time effects processing on your Android device no matter whether its from Samsung, Sony, Motorola, LG, HTC, Xiaomi or any other popular manufacturer.

iRig UA features a first-of-its-kind built-in digital signal processor (DSP) that solves the issue of inconsistent OS latency on the Android platform. It's able to do this by moving all processing to an external accessory. iRig UA's DSP has been designed to work with a companion app, AmpliTube UA. The app, which comes with iRig UA, is powered by the DSP. Like other versions of AmpliTube, it provides you with an amazing collection of virtual gear that you can use to create your own personal dream guitar or bass rig.

A versatile system, iRig UA can also be used as a digital recording interface when connected to a Samsung Professional Audio compatible device or smartphone or tablet with Android 5.0.

The Irig UA I purchased as a means for quiet practice throughout the house. I was skeptical at first but this item grew on me, it is alot of fun to flip through the presets checking the various tones and having the ability to change them. I'm still a beginner and learning now about the tone settings in clean, crunch and metal for the various songs I'm learning. So easy to use, essentially plug and play. The tones may not be for everyone but as a beginner/intermediate having access to the variety of amps, mics and effects in one little unit is fantastic. It comes with the drections to download Irig UA app for android and provides free access to Amplitube 3, T-Racks and Sampletank which are fantastic by themselves, I haven't gone into these too much but looking forward to plugging into them. Latency free is fantastic. What I also found when I had this plugged into my laptop it bypassed the sound card and processed the music/sounds to my speakers. The sound was a cleaner, very crisp and so much louder even through my cheap little Harmon/Kardon computer speakers, I can only imagine the sound through a set of monitors. Overall very happy, I seen it priced a little lower elsewhere but the service at L&M makes up for the difference.
