It's pretty much what you want in a basic tuner; I use it, as with all my pedals on power supply instead of batteries.
It's seen action onstage and held up just fine; definitely a good purchase if you think $100+ for a tuner is a little much.

This pedal is a great tuner. I love the display more than what is on my Polytune. I keep it on my secondary pedalboard but thinking of putting it on my main board.

I have toured with this tuner for the last couple years and it has not been pleasant. I went through 2 of them.
Pros:
- Cheaper
- Any size coin will open battery cover (nice feature)
Cons:
- Battery life is terrible - can barely get 2 shows out of a good 9V, and that's if it's NOT left on between soundcheck and show.
- Doesn't mute silently - makes a loud 'pop' whenever you mute to tune. (both tuners I bought did this) Maybe if it's plugged in it would be grounded and wouldn't pop? I don't know, I use batteries. More convenient on the road.
I'm surprised to see a positive review of this tuner, and I would think I just had a dud if I hadn't bought 2 of them and had the same problems with both. Guess the other person got lucky.
I think I'm going with the industry standard Boss next...

I've had this pedal for a little over a year. Build quality is solid - nice steel construction. This pedal does not have all the bells and whistles of some of the higher valued units, but for the price it does exactly what you are looking for - provide accurate chromatic tuning. Visual display is large and obvious which is great for dark stages. There is a power out jack on the back (where it won't interfere with pedal cables) beside the power input which is a nice bonus if you want to run a daisy chain directly off the pedal. Very decent pedal for the money.
