It is a great little amp. I just started playing in November and I got 3 amps yes I got a little excited truth is this one is my favourite. It sounds nice clean sounds great and dirty is just enough. Get this amp you will be happy you did. Don't leave it on the ground it makes a little hum noise. Other then that its awesome. I LOVE IT!!!

I bought this amp as a small secondary to go with my Marshall combo for when jamming with friends, etc at home. It's an amazing little amp. It doesn't do any fancy modelling, etc, it is just an analog solid state amp, no effects, no reverb, nothing which is great. It handles pedals well but bear in mind that there is no FX loop so everything must go through the preamp including reverbs, etc. It is plenty loud and has nice warm cleans and that classic Orange crunch, it does overdrive well but I find it turns very noisy with extreme gain...but maybe that's what you are looking for, I am not though. I can't think of a better practice amp for $200 especially if you want that British sound. You could go with a Fender Mustang, etc for more options but if you want just a basic solid state amp then you will not be disappointed.
