I have digital versions of power scaling which sound decent (Fender Tone Master Deluxe). I have a Fender Super Sonic Twin 100/25 watts. Works Great. 85 pounds though. Wanted a lighter version. Doesn't have power scaling, but with the cleverly designed gain channel the Fender Super Sonic 22 head with the 1 x 12 Mesa cab, will let me practice at bedroom volumes and at gig level with drums which works great. Anyway, returned the Mesa Boogie California Tweed Head (lemon) and ordered a Fender Super Sonic 22 head (black). Live and learn. Sometimes you try something new and it ain't what you thought it was. Still have a Mesa Fillmore 50 and TC-100, which work as advertised. But my collection of Fender amps is growing. I love the Tone Master Deluxe for fast cheap gigging. I play my Hand Wired '64 Custom Deluxe at home. My Super Sonic Twin 100/25 is for big gigs. The Supersonic 22 Head with 1 x 12 cab is good for practicing, jamming and gigs. Can really dial in a lot of good sounds. 4 button footswitch is a real handy feature.
