Yorkville Sound Heavy Duty Deluxe Three Tier Keyboard Stand

I have two of these stands, and both suffer from a serious flaw. On the two upper tiers, the rubber pieces that the keyboards are held against can easily react with the plastic that many modern keyboards are made of, causing a "melting" effect to be observed. Thus, if you buy one, unless you want indentations dissolved into your instruments, make sure to cover these with something non-reactive. I used some aluminum tape, which I don't think will react with any of the plastics, though we will have to see... Aside from this issue, the stands are quite good; they feel sturdy even when playing the topmost keyboard. All of the important structural things are made of metal (presumably aluminum), at least. We will see how they hold up in the long run.
