I ran out and ordered the Fender Telecaster Jim Root when it hit the market and have absolutely loved it and still own it, BUT I always regretted not getting the bit more expensive Black Stratocaster even though they have almost the same specs (Stratocaster having the compound 12-16? radius) I always was in aw of how gorgeous this black Fender Stratocaster version was...so I ordered one and couldn?t be more happy! They are the same but different (if that makes sense) they inspire playability and both have there own feel. This compound neck feels amazing and the fit and finish is wonderful as expected of a U.S built Fender. If you are on the fence about it don?t think anymore and grab one...you won?t be disappointed!!!

Wow. Neck is smooth as silk until I dirty her up, aesthetically beautiful and sounds great, EMG guys. I gotta get used to being fretless again. She is (in my liking) the perfect medium weight. I wanted to try some Duncan's in her but we'll see down the road. Will throw my Het Set in her this evening. I always thought my first strat would be a single coil but again, later down the road. ........I love her!
