It is a very nice doumbek with a good sound. It is VERY light and comes with a bag.
The only complaint I have about this doumbek is that it is a non-standard size, and the only way you'll get a replacement head is to order from Granite Percussion through Long and McQuade. I have not personally been able to find an 8.5" doumbek head anywhere online. I'm not sure what the sense is in manufacturing and selling a doumbek in such an odd size.
The standard sizes for doumbeks are 8.6", 8.75", 9", and 10.5".
