The Voodoo VR1 Passive Ribbon Microphone from sE Electronics features a passive ribbon to bring out the edge from your guitar cabs with no muddy highs. It uses proprietary electronics and a long, aluminum ribbon transducer to reproduce signals with a wide frequency response, and pristine detail. The capsule features a figure 8 polar pattern, wide frequency response, and detailed audio response.

The VR1 is a passive ribbon, so it does not require phantom power though it is "phantom protected", so it will not be damaged by accidental application of phantom power. Given its lower output, it is ideally suited for loud sources such as electric guitars, drum overheads, and brass.

The limited-time Vintage Edition finish represents true craftsmanship with a green hammered finish and polished chrome grill.
