After the first track, playback is also added to each additional track. The panning workaround suggested above may work on the 4 channel version, but there is no panning option on the 3 channel mixer. Recording in stereo using panning in my recording program produced two tracks but both still had the playback embedded. OK to use just as a mixer, but the Monitor line on mine also had a lot of noise. Didn't have a second pair of phones to see if it was my cable.

Bought to interface a wireless Sennheiser lavalier mic to a computer for Zoom presentation, where I needed to route the output signal of the mic receiver (+4db/XLR) to USB on the computer. Plugged it into the laptop and it worked. No drivers to install, etc, etc. Like my other ART products, it works as expected, noiseless, rock solid steel construction and fantastic value.

I used this as a recording interface but ended up exchanging it for another product. I found that listening to computer playback through the interface while recording another track caused the played back sounds to be included in the recording. It worked quite well for the initial tracks but wasn't suitable for me. Anybody willing to work around the overdub problem (ie: pan playback to the right and record on the left then delete the 'playback' track) or who doesn't consider it to be an issue might like this low-cost interface.

Does exactly what it says! To hang a good condenser mic onto a PC for broadcast use and monitor/check recordings this does the job. Well made black steel case, usb lead and USB PSU if you want to use it on its own. useful to have in your grab bag.
