The guitar I put these on is a solid Engleman Spruce top with solid Rosewood back & sides, woods which tend to produce a darker tone. These have brightened up the mid-range somewhat, without muddying the bass or treble registers. What really stands out is the overtones which are more audible than I've ever heard, with the 5th's and 7th's ringing clearly beneath the root note. Beautiful full voice! They'll requiring monthly changing (as most uncoated strings do) but the amazing sound is well worth it. My favorite strings on this guitar!

Since 1991 I have used the best expensive strings, after awhile they sound dull, I bought these string for half the cost, they wakened up my guitar, now sounds louder and brighter and last longer, all these years wasting money.

Used ernie ball strings for about 15+ years, always with the electric strings tho.. this time I thought I'd try their acoustic strings... literally the worst strings I've ever used... sorry 2 say, but they are horrible. U wont get 2 weeks out of the strings before they snap... the sound quality is not bad when they are new, but they just don't last... I've tried multiple packs now trying to make sure I wasn't just getting duds, but the strings just suck... I'd if been better of buying the cheap 10 dollar strings, I've gotten way more life out of those things than these things.. again hate leaving a bad review, but I also dont want other struggling musicians wasting their money on this garbage.. save urself the 10 bucks and go with the cheap strings.. or if u want good string go with a different brand, probably a coated string.🤘 ... wow cant put zeros for the review... even worse... so the .5's are actually zeros....

I play mostly finger style on a 12 fret shorter scale guitar - Tak 740 fs. Cedar top with mahogany B&S acoustic. Need the Bronze to brighten the tone over Phos strings and am very pleased with the tones. Also wanted slightly thinner strings and these work very well with the selected range. Been playing them for 3 weeks now and the hold tune well. Will stick with these strings for now. The guitar likes them.

I am happy with these strings, they are a perfect size for my needs. They appear to be strong yet flexible, and comfortable to the touch.
