Djent forefather and speed demon Misha Mansoor has gained widespread acclaim as the mastermind behind the axe-centric progressive metal band Periphery. He's known to impress the most discerning of metal fans with his steadfast, fleet-fingered technique, and his personally designed collection of Jackson signature Juggernaut instruments is sure to set any shredder's tone ablaze.

The Pro Juggernaut HT6 features a basswood body, one-piece bolt-on maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement and wrap-around heel for greater playing comfort, 16" flat radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, offset dot inlays, Luminlay side-dots, and heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel.

Not willing to sacrifice tone, Mansoor spent considerable time working with Jackson to develop new, killer-sounding Jackson MM1 pickups, which can be shaped with a master volume and master tone control with push/pull select and five-way blade switch. Also features a Jackson HT6 string-through-body hardtail bridge, Jackson die-cast locking tuners, black hardware and reverse Jackson 3x3 (3 over, 3 under) AT-1 headstock.

So I was shopping for a birthday present guitar, and I was always going back to this one. Maybe it’s the colour, maybe it’s because of Misha Mansoor, I don’t know, but I eventually decided to order it. And boy, was that ever a good decision! The 20” radius, the roasted maple neck, the locking tuners, the lumenlays, all that for the price was already suprising. When I plugged it in straight out of the box it sounded incredible, those MM1 pickups absolutely do the trick. As for quality, mine did not have the paint and finishing issues on other reviews, which is great and pretty surprising considering the shipping delays because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, this guitar is as advertised and one of the best values you can get. Of course, it djents, but it has that snappy stratty tone when you play with the toggle switch. It’s a very versatile instrument and well worth every penny.

Went full fanboy and ordered this based on my love for Periphery. I'm not disappointed. The only issue I have with this guitar is the finish. There is a minimal finish flaw at the bottom bevel of the body and the mounting screw holes on the heel aren't finished properly. There's a bit of wood grain showing through and they aren't sanded as much as I'd like. Aside from that, this guitar is perfect. It plays very well. Love the neck. It's even thinner feeling than a wizard, but is super comfortable for thumb over chord playing. The pick up selecting for the inner and outer coils gives some nice stratty clean tones. The colour is amazing in person. The way the matte blue contrasts with the caramelized maple neck is beautiful. Love the luminlays too. I highly recommend this guitar for anyone considering.
