I bought a Millenium Wind off Craigslist and it's not a bad horn. Shortly afterwards; I saw that L&M was having their yearly "Attic" sale. I noticed the P. Muriat (used and half the cost of retail). I did my due diligence online and it was apparent that this brand was highly regarded. Well; I managed to secure this horn and it was a really good decision! It has a beautiful warm and full sound. I've only been playing for a few months; but I have a good ear and the quality of this horn comes shining through. It even came with a fairly expensive case (P. Muriat), with room for everything. The first thing I noticed, was the attention to detail; from the horn, to the neck, to the case. It costs more than the other horns and apparently, there's a good reason for this! Unless you're playing professionally (not that this sax wouldn't handle the work), this is all the sax you will probably need. I love this sax! No one is paying me to write this review. ;)

For an intermediate/student model, I found that this horn was really resonant and punchy with the right mouthpiece and reed. It has a warm and thick sound. I'd definitely recommend it to any young aspiring player. Although, I am looking to upgrade soon. It's an in-betweener :)
