Marshall AS50D - 2x25w 2 Channel Acoustic Amp

Finally... !! I've tried all the usual brands (up to the $800 range) and just was not happy with the results I got. I own both an acoustic electric and a Godin A6 Ultra. Was mainly having issues with the sound I expected from the Ultra. I never really thought of Marshall as an "acoustic" amp company and it was the last amp I tried. Can't say a lot other than Finally...the acoustic amp I've been searching for. Lots of features the more well-known brands don't have or have skimped on to keep their price low. Super tone. Lots of volume from a "smaller" amp. Well built and sturdy.

This little amp is loaded with features. 2 Chanell, the reverb is real nice. Mic in for solo shows, line out, effects loop, Now I realize a lot people reading this review won't be any where near my skill level on guitar but don't sweat it, your proficiency on acoustic will improve with this amp because you simply won't want to stop playing and as you are aware practice makes you better. I use a Boss loop station with it, I have drum tracks with bass mp3's loaded on the looper and I play guitar and sing all through this amp... nice.I sometimes use keyboards or electric guitar through the second chanell. I call it a Bo Derek because it has it all, just like she did in 10...remember?

I've had this for three years now and enjoy it as much as the first day. At purchase, I (A,B, and C)d it along with two other amps including an acoustasonic and always kept coming back to the Marshall. The surprise for me was that Marshall could actually build an amp with this much reproduction of natural acoustic guitar sound. I liked it so much that I... (no I didn't buy the company) but I bought the amp. I have since used it at church and other smaller venues. It also has an XLR line out(which I have never used) for PA applications. This amp does not have a mid cut/boost dial but I personally don't miss it, most guitars having an onboard EQ. Likes and dislikes are subjective but this one is worth considering if you're in the market.
