Built using the same solid plywood cabinet construction, all metal grille, Black leatherette covering and black grill cloth, the closed back YCX12B is the perfect companion cabinet for the popular Traynor YCV50B combo. Loaded with a single 12-inch Celestion Vintage30 speaker, in a closed back cabinet design, the YCX12B adds not only volume, but crushing bottom end to any YCV50B.

I wanted a cab to supplement my Peavey Encore combo amp. Decided to buy this because its a Traynor and it has the Celestion Vintage 30. The bass is pretty deep, but I think it sounds incredible, It looks cool. It will last forever. Recommended. I just play this cab, have the main amp speaker disconnected.

I bought this cab based on it's specs on paper; birch plywood construction, Celestion Vintage 30 speaker and it's made in Canada. The cab is a little bigger than most 1x12's which seems to result in a tighter, bassier sound. For the price, I don't think this thing can be beat (in Canada anyway). I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality cab. Fit and finish is fantastic and it sounds great out of the box.
