Alex Brennan

Alex is a graduate of Western University where she studied Voice and obtained her Hon. Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Arts degree in Community Music at Wilfrid Laurier University. With a passion for music education and community capacity building, Alex aims to create a welcoming, diverse, and nurturing environment where musicians of all ages and stages can come and discover the joy of music!

Chris Hull - Percussion, Hand Drums music lessons in Stratford

Chris Hull (Percussion, Hand Drums)

Chris Hull is a percussionist and drummer from Kitchener, Ontario, whose dedication to his craft has taken him around the world. Chris has studied, taught, and performed from Alaska, where he earned his Master of Music degree (University of Alaska Fairbanks, '17), all the way to Bali, where he recently spent a year studying traditional Balinese gamelan music. As a classical musician, he has played in venues such as Koerner Hall (Toronto), Place des Arts (Montreal), the Bayerische Rundfunksaal (Munich), and the National Museum of Indonesia (Jakarta), while also performing frequently as a drummer in bands around Southern Ontario. For nine years, Chris has taught students of all ages by way of private lessons and also as a lecturer and clinician at Long & McQuade locations around Ontario, in undergraduate classes at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and for the K-W Symphony "My First Music Lesson" camps.$25/ half-hour lesson.

Jason has been playing guitar since the late 90’s and has been teaching for 16 years. He specializes in Flamenco guitar and has studied under Migel De La Bastide for many years. Jason also has received his Grade 10 RCM for classical guitar. He has a solid background in both classical and modern theory. He has been performing in festivals and theaters over the years playing flamenco, classical, bluegrass, jazz and many other genres. No matter what your musical aspirations are, Jason will work to help you achieve your goals. $23 per half hour lesson.

Luke Robertson is a guitarist/singer/composer from Stratford, Ontario. Luke studied at Humber College with some of Canada's most accomplished guitarists including Ted Quinlan, Geoff Young and David Occhipinti. His skills as a guitarist have been well regarded since he began playing music in his early teens. Luke has played in bands such as Dead Noise, Hope You’re Shattered Envy and most recently Queen Licorice. Luke began writing early in his development as a musician and has always given attention to covering and learning from his favourite artists. His versatile ability on the guitar has made him an in demand guitarist for a variety of gigs including weddings, recording sessions and live performances. An eccentric and outgoing performer, Luke Robertson enjoys entertaining and dazzling audiences with a variety of songs and styles. Luke currently plays in a trio called, The Compilations and a top 40 cover band called, Gin and Tonic. His lesson rate is $23/ half-hour lesson.
