Andrew Somerville (Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Ukulele, Mandolin)
From jazz to jugband, mariachi to metal, Andrew Somerville has performed, studied and taught music in Canada, The U. S. and México. Mr. Somerville studied guitar and bass at Toronto's Humber College, Detroit's Wayne State University and privately in Detroit, Toronto and Mexico City. Andrew’s goal-oriented approach focuses on the student’s abilities and musical tastes. He is equally comfortable teaching beginners of all ages up to the most advanced students of theory and technique. "The way to motivate a student is to give them the means to create the music they love and to show them how to make practice both fun and rewarding." Andrew's rate is $24.00/half-hour private lesson.
