Danielle Leonard - violin music lessons in Kingston

Danielle Leonard (violin)

Danielle began playing violin at the age of 5. As a teen she studied with a classical violin teacher who advised that she follow her heart and be a fiddler! Since then, she has gained years of experience in performance and has recorded with many local artists. Following in the footsteps of her mom, a piano teacher and mentor, Danielle has been teaching since 2013. Joining Long & McQuade in 2018, she is also studying a double major at Queen's University in both Music and French. Her passion always comes back to teaching the fiddle. She is proud to introduce her students to new music and show them the endless possibilities that come with this beautiful instrument. Danielle can teach her lessons in either English or French, and her rate for a half hour private lesson is $22.

Ivan Stoiljkovic - violin music lessons in Kingston

Ivan Stoiljkovic (violin)

Ivan attended Vladimir Dordevic Primary School of Music and the Borislav Stankovic Secondary School of Music in his native Belgrade. As a young adult, he moved to Kitchener, Ontario where he continued to study violin under the tutelage of Eduard Minevich, concertmaster of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra. In addition to ongoing musical studies, Ivan completed a Masters of Arts Degree in History from Queen’s University in 2001.
Ivan has been teaching at our location snice 2009, and his rate for a half hour private lesson is $22.
