Caitlin Stuart

With a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a Masters degree in Orchestral Trumpet Performance, Caitlin has a great understanding of how important a good music education is! She is very passionate about growing the Lessons Centre and offering many different performance opportunities to our students. She is currently working towards a diploma in Office Administration in her spare time. Caitlin started off as the Lesson Coordinator in Woodstock, Ontario in 2017, and has now taken over as Lesson Coordinator in Moncton, New Brunswick!

Welcome to Metro Moncton's largest music lesson centre with two locations for your convenience. Our primary location is at 245 Carson drive in the Trinity area. We are proud to offer 20 well equipped lesson studios and Moncton's finest faculty of independent music teachers. Our second location for music lessons is in the newly renovated Arts and Culture centre, a state of the art facility located in the heart of downtown Dieppe. If you've ever aspired to learn a musical instrument, this is the place for you! Whether you want to take guitar lessons, piano lessons, or perhaps always wanted to sing, whatever your choice, our music teachers are here to help you on your journey. Christine Gollan - Piano music lessons in Moncton

Christine Gollan (Piano)

Christine is currently enrolled in the music performance program at l'Université de Moncton studying Piano. She has been playing for over 12 years and has some experience with other instruments, such as the double bass and percussion in the New Brunswick youth orchestra. She has also played the bass and performed in the Greater Moncton area with a progressive rock band.. Christine mostly teacher Classical Piano but she is very versatile and can teach an array of different styles. Her rates are $21 per ½ hour private lesson.
Christine est présentement inscrite à l'Université de Moncton pour un baccalauréat en interprétation de musique en Piano. Elle joue le piano depuis qu'elle a 12 ans et possède un peu d'expérience avec quelques autres instruments, tels que la basse double et les percussions. James Coghlin - Piano, Theory music lessons in Moncton

James Coghlin (Piano, Theory)

James, a Canadian pianist from Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, discovered a passion for the piano at an early age. He began to play in public at age eight and at age seventeen placed second in the National Music Festival Finals. From 2005-2009, he attended St. Olaf College in Minnesota, earning a Bachelor’s degree (B. Mus) in Piano Performance under Kent McWilliams; and from 2009-2014, studied at the Université de Montréal, obtaining a Master’s degree (M. Mus) and Artist Diploma (D.E.S.S.) under Marc Durand. In October of 2011, James performed Beethoven’s fifth piano concerto with the Orchestre Symphonique de l’Universite de Montreal under the direction of conductor Jean-Francois Rivest. He is currently working towards completion of a doctoral degree (D. Mus) under Maneli Pirzadeh and Jean Saulnier. His rates are $22 per ½ hour private lesson.
Né en Saskatchewan, James a commencé l’étude du piano à l’âge de 4 ans. She received a bachelors degree in Music from the University of Winnipeg in the year 1995. Nhat-Viet Phi (Piano)

Nhat-Viet ("Toto") Phi began playing solo piano at age six, and has enjoyed a long history of success in Canadian music festivals starting even before his national first prize at age eleven. In addition to headlining with several Canadian orchestras and chamber music with his brothers, he has been praised for his wide-ranging collaborative talents across the nation in vocal, choral, string, woodwind, brass and percussion disciplines. From 2007-2019, Toto was the official accompanist for the University of Moncton music department. Since 1990, Mr. Phi has enjoyed teaching piano privately for all ages and all levels including ARCT, in English and French. His rates are $24 per 1/2 hour lesson and $18 per student for a 1/2 hour semi-private lesson.

Serge earned his degree in classical saxophone performance from the Université of Moncton in 2007. Having taught students since his third year at the university, he has also been playing with various groups and tackling all styles, notably The Moncton Mingus Band, which specializes in jazz improvisation. He practices cabaret-style singing while accompanying himself on the piano. His rates are 22$ per ½ hour private lesson and 16.50$ per student for a ½ hour semi-private lesson.

Born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria, Valentin started taking lessons at the young age of 4. Bulgaria is well known for excellence in musical education, and Valentin benefited greatly from some of Europe’s finest musicians. Valentin received a diploma from the “Académie Supérieure de Musique de Sofia”. Throughout his 40 years career, Valentin has taken part in many orchestras. Including L’orchestre de l’Académie Supérieure de Musique de Sofia, Symphony Orchestra of Rome etc. He was a Music Professor the National Academy of Music in Tunisia and the Conservatory of Tunisia. He is an excellent teacher with over 20 years experience teaching in all levels. Valentin's rates are $22 per ½ hour private lesson and $16.50 per student for a ½ hour semi-private lesson.
