Amelie Roberts - Violin, Fiddle, Viola, Strings music lessons in Winnipeg

Amelie Roberts (Violin, Fiddle, Viola, Strings)

Amelie is a recent graduate from The University of Ottawa, Bachelor of Music Program: Viola Performance, Class of 2019. Some of her awards and certification include:
2014 Montréal Suzuki Institute, Violin Unit 1 Teacher Training
2014 Winner of AMAF Provincial Music Finals – Senior Chamber Group Class (String Trio)
2011 Recipient of the Winnipeg Music Festival Kozub Trophy (String Quartet)
2011 Winner of the AMAF Provincial Music Finals, Intermediate Chamber Group Class (String Quartet)
Amelie also holds her Royal Conservatory Grade Ten Violin, and Grade 8 Piano certificates.
She loves playing festivals and has also enjoyed teaching University camps during her career. Amelie offers violin and viola lessons to all ages and experience levels at our Winnipeg location on Pembina Highway. Her rate is $26 per half hour.

Brian Klowak - Woodwinds, Violin, Strings music lessons in Winnipeg

Brian Klowak (Woodwinds, Violin, Strings)

teaches Violin, Saxophone, Flute and Clarinet. He has studied the Suzuki approach and has a special interest in fiddling and bluegrass music. On the sax, he has attended the Banff Fine Arts Centre Summer Jazz Workshops where he studied with Lee Konitz and Dave Liebman. He has also studied privately with Ralph Bowen and Pat Labarbera. He has recorded with the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra and has also currently performs with The Ron Paley Big Band. Brian leads his own jazz group and plays with the Winnipeg Jazz Festival and Jazz Winnipeg’s Nu Sounds Series performing his own music. Performing with WSO and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet he remains the best in his field. He is a sax clinician in the public school system. He has a creative/collaborative approach to teaching, focusing on fundamentals. He welcomes students of all ages. Brian teaches at our Winnipeg lesson centre and his rate is $24 per half hour.

Gage Salnikowski (Strings, Violin, Cello, Clarinet, Flute, Piano, Guitar, Woodwinds)

Gage has 17 years advanced knowledge in performance and musical theory in a wide variety of genres . Completed First-year of University in International Baccelaureate programs and has studied 6 years Jazz piano and theory study under Bryan Harder, Will Bonness (currently teaching at University of Manitoba), and Michelle Grégoire. Gage has achieved an advanced degree of playing over 25 instruments including piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello, contrabass, electric bass, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, cornet, French horn, trombone, tuba, mandolin, banjo, oud, dulcimer, accordion, and percussion. Gage teaches at our Winnipeg lesson centre and his rate is $25 per half hour.

Shoshana Goldenberg - Voice, Violin, Viola, Ukulele, Strings music lessons in Winnipeg

Shoshana Goldenberg (Voice, Violin, Viola, Ukulele, Strings)

Shoshana is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who has 19 years of experience pursuing musical excellence. She began studying violin at the age of 3, studying the Suzuki Method with Joanne Martin. At 10, she began studying viola as well. Along the way, she joined the Winnipeg Youth Orchestra, playing both violin and viola. She later studied viola with Daniel Scholz. Throughout childhood, she performed in many choirs, including the Pembina Trails Voices honour choir, and at age 12, she began studying classical voice with Phyllis Thompson, and performed for many years in the Winnipeg Music Festival and various other music competitions, as well as completing RCM examinations in both voice and music theory. In 2014, she joined the U of M Faculty of Music's Jazz Studies Program, studying jazz voice with Anna-Lisa Kirby. She is currently in her 3rd year of the Jazz Program, and performs with the Promise ensemble led by Derrick Gardner. Other projects she is involved with include the jazz manouche group “Juvel,” as well as her solo work. With her eclectic experience and passion for all different genres of music, she welcomes students of all ages, skill levels, and musical interests! Shoshana teaches at our Winnipeg lesson centre and her rate is $24 per half hour.
