AARON MATHESON - GUITAR, PIANO music lessons in Edmonton Northeast

AARON MATHESON (GUITAR, PIANO)

Aaron Matheson graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Contemporary Popular music, as well as a diploma in Performance and Composition from Grant MacEwan University. He has been teaching privately since 2012 and is an active musician in Edmonton and has toured throughout Canada. He has performed in the Edmonton Kaleido Festival and venues such as the Starlite room, Mercury Room, Winspear Centre and the Artery. His specialties are Jazz, Rock, Funk, Pop and Folk styles. Aaron offers lessons in Edmonton at the Northeast store and his rate is $23 per half hour.

Adriana Jankovic - CLARINET, SAXOPHONE music lessons in Edmonton Northeast

Adriana Jankovic (CLARINET, SAXOPHONE)

Adriana Jankovic received her Bachelor of Music in clarinet performance from the University of Alberta. She has been a member of the National Youth Band, the University Symphony Orchestra, the University Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and is principal clarinetist of the Edmonton Youth Orchestra. She has recently placed second in the woodwind category in the National Music Festival in August 2018. Adriana has taught numerous instrumental clinics to Junior High and High School bands students, and loves seeing how much progress that motivated students can make. Adriana teaches beginner to intermediate clarinet and saxophone students.
Rate: $23 per half hour

Ani Brenton - VOICE, PIANO, THEORY music lessons in Edmonton Northeast

Ani Brenton (VOICE, PIANO, THEORY)

Ani Brenton completed her diploma in Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music from Grant MacEwan University in 2010, and is currently in her fourth year of the Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at the University of Alberta. Between finishing her studies at MacEwan and beginning at the UofA, Ani took time off to travel, gig, and begin teaching private voice, piano, and theory lessons, which she has been doing since 2012. Ani specializes in a variety of styles including pop, jazz, soul, blues, musical theatre and classical music. She enjoys seeing her students’ progress, and the amount of joy music can to a person’s day.
Rate: $23 per half hour

BERNARD SPRENGER - GUITAR, BASS GUITAR, UKULELE music lessons in Edmonton Northeast

BERNARD SPRENGER (GUITAR, BASS GUITAR, UKULELE)

Bernard Sprenger is a music graduate with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Composition from MacEwan University. Along with teaching privately for the last two years, Bernard is also an active musician playing at live venues in various locations across Canada for the last three years. He has recorded two albums and four singles, and is affiliated with Festival Place in Sherwood Park. Bernard specializes in a variety of styles, from rock, pop, R&B, Metal, Punk and Jazz. He enjoys teaching all skill levels. Bernard offers lessons in Edmonton at the Northeast store and his rate is $23 per half hour.

CONNOR ELLINGER - DRUMS music lessons in Edmonton Northeast

CONNOR ELLINGER (DRUMS)

Connor Ellinger is a music graduate with a Performance Diploma from MacEwan University. He studied with musicians such as Kenny Washington, Dan Skakun and Sandro Dominelli. He has been teaching privately since 2014 and also has had an active career as a drummer since 2010. He has been involved with numerous recordings and has toured across Canada and the US. He teaches all skill levels and can teach all genres also specializing in Reading, Theory and Audition Preparation. Connor offers lessons in Edmonton at the Northeast store and his rate is $23 per half hour.

Curtis Ross - GUITAR, BASS music lessons in Edmonton Northeast

Curtis Ross (GUITAR, BASS)

Curtis has been teaching since 2008 in a variety of genres including rock, pop, R&B and metal. He has released two solo albums that charted highly on CBC and college radio throughout Canada, and was the musical director for several plays including the University of Alberta's production of Tom Waits' “The Black Rider.” He has performed with many prominent artists such as George Clinton, Parliament/Funkadelic, Cadence Weapon and Bill Bourne. Curtis offers lessons in Edmonton at the Northeast store and his rate is $25 per half hour.

DUANE CLARK (BASS GUITAR, PIANO)

Duane Clark is a music graduate with a music diploma from Red Deer College. He has been teaching private lessons for the Bass Guitar and Piano for four years and Drums for two. Duane has been an active musician in Symphonic Bands, Jazz combos and Progressive rock bands. Additionally he played with the Edmonton Youth Orchestra for four years. Duane enjoys providing a really good foundation for beginner and intermediate students, and specializes in Ear training and Theory. Duane offers lessons in Edmonton at the Northeast store and his rate is $23 per half hour.

KELLY SMITH - GUITAR music lessons in Edmonton Northeast

KELLY SMITH (GUITAR)

Kelly Smith has been teaching private lessons for the last three years. He started his own private lessons at the age of ten and is currently obtaining his Bachelor of Music Degree from Grant MacEwan University. He has played in a variety of groups and performed in different venues around Alberta for the last two years. He is the founding member of Jam Band, Sound Bodacious. He enjoys teaching all skill levels and specializes in Jazz and Rock styles. Kelly offers lessons in Edmonton at the Northeast store and his rate is $23 per half hour.
