I've owned this for a year now. I love it.
I play at gigs frequently and love how the xlr output is independent of the master volume. I set the gain and the line out knobs and leave it as is, and use the master volume to control my stage volume without annoying the sound tech.
I use an 8ohm cab and it packs quite a wallop. I once rented another 8ohm cab and connected it in parallel in an attempt to use the full 500W. It rattled the floor and overpowered everyone on stage. I've only used one 8ohm cab since.
The VPF and VLE controls add to its versatility. It also has a send and return FX loop which runs parallel to the dry signal. I've never used it at gigs, but I eventually plan to dedicate it entirely to my dirty/wet signal. Ideal for the bass!!
To conclude, I love it!! Worth every cent.

I have owned my LMIII for over a year and it my favourite bass head. Light, easy to transport, and great sounding. Very warm and clean. It would be perfect if it had a mute switch and built-in compressor.
