GS MINI-E W V2

Limited stock available in select stores only

This addition to the popular GS Mini family features layered walnut back and sides paired with a solid Sitka spruce top. Like its other Mini siblings, this modern-day parlor guitar has wowed the world with its fun-size appeal, packing a grown-up guitar voice into a scaled-down form that fits perfectly into everyday life. As active or relaxed as you want to be, having a Mini on hand is like having your songwriting muse on instant demand. And for beginners, it makes an acoustic guitar feel super-approachable. The Mini ships with a durable, lightweight hard bag, allowing you to take it anywhere. An onboard Taylor ES-B pickup/preamp also enables you to plug in and make your voice heard. It features a built-in tuner, low-battery indicator, and tone and volume controls.

FEATURES:

GS Mini Shape packs a ton of tone into a comfortable travel size, giving you a guitar that's full-voiced and incredibly fun to play.

Sitka Spruce Top Wood - The soundboard choice for most guitars, Sitka spruce produces a broad dynamic range and accommodates a versatile range of playing styles.

Walnut Body Wood - Walnut's crisp highs are balanced by a deep, woody low end that emerges as the guitar is played in.

ES-B Electronics - The ES-B pickup incorporates Taylor's Expression System 2 piezo design elements and features an onboard preamp with a built-in digital chromatic tuner. The preamp/tuner unit features an LED display for tuning and low battery indication, along with Tone and Volume controls. The preamp/tuner is powered by two button cell 3v lithium (CR2032) batteries. Two new batteries will provide approximately 300 hours of use.

Non-cutaway - The clean, symmetrical look of a traditional acoustic guitar.

Bought this guitar about a year ago! Was blown away when I picked it up in the store and gave it a strum. Big sound. Super comfortable size. This thing can hang with high end guitars all day. You will not be disappointed with this guitar. Pay the extra $$ and get a GS mini and put the mini Martin and baby Taylor back on the shelf.

I sold my Epiphone EL-00 Pro, and initially set out to buy a Martin. I spent a couple of hours going between 3 Martin's and this guitar. Needless to say I walked out the door with this beauty. Got it on sale, so it was a great deal all around. Haven't set it down since getting home. Great tones, and feels sweet in the hands. No disappointment in this gem!

I sold my Simon & Patrick to buy this, and I'm not looking back. As the title says, it's only my second acoustic, but this thing sounds good. Even compared to more expensive Taylors. I use the built-in tuner all the time, but once the strings settle, it stays in tune quite well, useful though for different tunings. It also sounds good plugged in. Don't get fooled by the name, there's nothing "mini" about this guitar. Try it in the store, you might walk out with a very good gig bag on your back with this guitar in it.

I play both a Martin HD-35 and a Taylor 414ce normally. I wanted to get a guitar that I wasn't worried about taking out of the house or traveling with. I tried several including the Martin Dreadnaught JR. Nothing compared to the tone I can get out of this Taylor though. I liked the martin for its slightly bigger nut but it sounded more dead so I went to the GS. I can't say enough good things about how this plays and sounds. For sure worth checking it out.

I was looking for a new acoustic with a smaller body as I only had a jumbo and wanted something more comfortable for the couch. I was also hoping for something I could take outback or to the trailer to play around a fire. I tried out just about everything in this price range at several different stores, give or take a couple hundred. I kept coming back to this one. This guitar has a great punch, excellent note accents and the lows just boom, particularily for a guitar of this size. It stays in tune very well, the neck feels and plays amazing and it has a very elegant look. With the tone, excellent playability, the high quality case and built-in tuner, the value here is unbeatable at this price range.
