A tobacco sunburst top brings a touch of vintage heart to the 214ce-CF DLX. The Grand Auditorium body, featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and layered copafera back and sides, produces a clear, balanced voice with full mids and a warm low end. With Taylor's onboard Expression System 2 electronics, that tonal detail can be faithfully reproduced in any amplified setting. Tasteful aesthetic touches include an Italian acrylic rosette, Small Diamond inlays, white binding, and an elegant gloss-finish body. Together with Taylor's ultra-playable neck, the feel, sound and look present a complete acoustic package that will appeal to a wide range of players and musical styles. The guitar ships in a deluxe hardshell case.

I've owned my Taylor 214ce-CF for just over a year now and absolutely love it. It has a big sound with great bass tones and great sustain. All I've done is lowered the action slightly and its quickly become my favorite guitar.

Great sound, great playability, & great looking guitar. A little pricey but it played so well & came with a Taylor hard case so it was worth the extra cash

I don?t care what it?s made from - or what the name/ price tag says I walked by and gave it a strum. I was hooked. Rang so true. Was originally shopping for a 12 string and tried this thing out and could not bear to return it . Have barely put down since I got it. Perfectly complements my Gibson J 45 as an alternate tone / style /tool. Not to mention they look great together on stage. Highly recommend. My first Taylor.

I am a 60 year old fella who used to play in my younger days. Have been getting back at it again this last six months or so. Bought a cheap guitar a few years ago but lost interest because it wouldn?t stay in tune and was hard to play and it didn?t sound all that great. Have been doing some research and have purchased a Godin Kingpin, and an American Special Telecaster which are both great guitars. I still needed an acoustic to fill the gaps between these two guitars. I visited the Nanaimo store quite a bit and Roly and others put up with me as I tried several different ones. I liked the Taylor ce k Dlx which is the Koa model. It looked great and sounded very nice. I also liked the new high performance Gibson J35. It had such a nice neck. I wanted this guitar to look special so spending around $2000 for a guitar would also look like something. I settled on this one. It seemed to play better, has a beautiful resonance, and was in absolutely perfect condition. I will lend some advice, as I?ve already heard it before. Buy the best guitar you can for the money you have. I go home and amazed at how this thing plays. I know in the big picture $2000 isn?t a big amount for a good guitar, but it is a lot for me. The folks at long and McQuade have been great. It?s sort of like a marriage. You need a good place to look after you because if you continue playing you will find yourself visiting the store several times in the future, for stuff, advice, or just to hang out. I will never be famous, except to my wife and kids, but rock and roll is alive and well in my house- especially with my new Taylor guitar. Special thanks to Roly in Nanaimo

Surprisingly rich sound on warmth and clarity. Would consider this guitar comparable to all solid wood guitars.
