Actually I have owned it for a while and started to used it in March 2018 in temperatures from 3 C in feb thru the summer when it was 28 C. I busk at Granville Island om weekends. I see no reason to replace it and it has never failed. My complaints would be dumb EQ points for both guitar and vocals but I get around them . As was said the verbs are not great but I have gotten around that too the use of pedal boards. I hope they release a battery version as it would be sweet!

I tried a ton of acoustic amps and this one by far was the best. Not cheap by any means but, in this case, you get what you pay for. The efx are very nice especially the reverbs. I lowered the "features" value a bit as I would have liked more control over the efx parameters. In today's world a USB port to a computer with a dedicated editor for this amp would have been ideal, especially for the price they are charging. That being said, this is a classic "hi-fi product", meaning that the design and build is exemplary. The tone control takes a bit of getting used to. They are not wide band sweeps as you normally expect but carefully tuned for the acoustic guitar harmonics. Once you get used to them you realize how "sweet" they are tuned. It really is a beautiful little beast with lots of headroom.

I bought the first one in Canada sold through L&M. I own a Larrivee LV-09. I also play my electric through it using an eband boss - I love the distortion. They both sound great! Vocals is my main instrument: it delivers great fidelity. Not crazy about the reverb for vocals, but sounds great for guitar. This amp is rugged, well made and light to carry around. However, I'm gonna trade it up for Era2 as I want more bottom end for my percussive style of playing and singing. I've also played a Beatbuddy through this baby - it didn't disappoint! The downside - cost!! I guess you get what you pay for folks.

Easy to comment on such a well thought out wonderful amp. Being at the price point, I knew the amp should be outstanding, but once I started playing with the fx options I was impressed. It really does simply duplicate the exact sound of my Martin but with 250 watts of headroom. Not only does this amp have the best tone I?ve ever heard from and acoustic amp, it has enough headroom to play small gigs without problem. This is also only the second acoustic amp I?ve ever played that doesn?t have a feedback problem. This and my Fishman Mini can both be played at almost full volume with complete clarity. Hughes and Kettner have somehow managed to amplify without sacrificing the beautiful tone of my Martin. A truly superior product!

Sounds great with acoustic guitars, with my Taylors 814,514 and Martin GPC18e; clear and clean acoustics sound comes out. Great effects for guitars and vocals. Try it out if you can, but it is a bit pricey. Lots of power. Returned it with a heavy heart because I already own a Bose L1 compact and a Roland AC33. I couldn't justify spending that much money. If I didn't own a Bose I would have kept it for sure. It is really great that L&M let you return anything if you are not happy, no questions asked. I keep coming back to them, because they care.
