GX11ME-NS

Online

This all mahogany, non-cutaway 3/4 size Taka-mini may be the best excuse ever to own a smaller scale guitar. Tuned standard, alternate or high strung to heaven, the GX11ME-NS is a very unique and versatile instrument all unto itself. The rosewood 21 fret fingerboard and friendly 42mm nut width have the feel of an old friend. Take it to the beach. Take it to the studio - and with the TP4T preamp you can take it on stage.

I tried the Taylor Baby, and the Martin Jr. but both sounded like toy guitars to us. They didn't have the full rich sound that i am used to hearing. I have to admit I usually play a Mahogany 12 string so I love the rich deep sound of a Mahogany Guitar. That said, I expected this little tak to leave me wanting. Boy was I wrong! I love the sound of this little guitar. Coupled with the size and portability I find that I am picking up this guitar way more often than any other. It is by far the most inexpensive guitar i own, but the one i play most often. pick one up and give it a strum the next chance you get, you might be glad you did...I was!
