TOTAL CONTROL ACROSS THE BOARD

Unleash your complete sonic arsenal.

FBV 3 is a next-generation foot controller that gives you total hands-free control of Line 6 amps and effects. Save and recall your favorite presets and much more. It's the ultimate tool for performing guitarists. After all, you should focus on your performance - without being tied to the knobs on your amp.

When you're performing, the last thing you want to worry about is your gear breaking down. With steel hardware and rugged metal casing, FBV 3 is built to withstand even the toughest gigs - night after night. A single cable supplies both power and communication to your amp, keeping your setup clean and simple. The illuminated and backlit LCD display is big, bright, and easy to read so you can see the active preset name, number, and the chromatic tuner at a glance.

INNOVATION IN EVERY STEP

FBV 3 isn't your average foot controller. Thirteen steel footswitches - five with assignable color LEDs - help you easily keep track of active amps and effects. Dedicated footswitches for bank up/down make it fast and easy to scroll through your presets. A built-in expression pedal with a wah/volume toe switch gives you even more control of sweeping effects. A dedicated tap tempo footswitch enables you to quickly synchronize time-based effects like delay and echo. And a chromatic tuner keeps every note sounding great.

I had to order this board site unseen from l&m. It works fine. I found the quality to be very good. Gives lots of options while playing. I use to use my iPad to set my amp but this works much better when live. A few clicks and I can change the settings in a snap. The only thing to watch is the LCD will black out if playing in bright sunshine

Out of the box the FBV3 didn't work, (I mean nothing worked - dead) I had to update the firmware by downloading the line 6 updater (http://line6.com/software/) version 1.09 that bring your FBV to version 1.01 and update board via USB. There is no way to assign LED colors as advertised yet if used with a SPIDER IV amp. This is complete false advertisement. To switch between WAH/Volume the toggle switch is very awkward and not very intuitive. Other than that the board is solid, feel like quality equipment. The screen is larger - easier to read than previous models of foot controller. I still think the MK2 previous model was a better deal. For 400+$ including tax, frankly disappointed.
