I first liked these monitors for their sound. but sometimes I have to turn on and off to get one side working, and even at half volume it can get an overload shutdown. I will be upgrading in the near future to better monitors. served me fine for 3 yrs until the problems started. I still have a set of old old altec lansings, I just need to cut and solder some new plugs on but they still sound great

These are Excellent Beginner studio monitors! They're nice and small, cheap and have okay sound quality. They push out a lot, but the sound gets a but 'Tubby' at the low end (-110hz). However you cannot change which one is Left and Right, and they only have an RCA in at the back. Was quite pleased with these guys, but i will be upgrading soon.
