I've had one of these for about a year. It works good when I use a regular 440 tuning but it does take about a second or two to read the tone when you stomp on it, nothing major but a bit slow. Recently, I've been playing with a few friends and we tune a half step down. The tuner doesn't recognize most of the notes at first. It will eventually recognize one of the notes but not the others. I then have to roughly tune the guitar manually and then it can read the notes. I can then fine tune once all the strings are roughly flat. If you don't tune flat it works fine but like I said, a little slow still at that price it's a bargain. The other guitarist in the band has the same tuner and has the same problems.

Barely works and it's slow. Noisy when engaged. Get the Poly, Pitchblack or Boss.

Picked this unit up used and immediately found that while it had many features on it, they were not very user friendly on stage. Your best bet is to set it to chromatic tune and leave it. Before I picked up the power supply for my board, I found it to be very power hungry, eating up 9v batteries for breakfast. Seemed a little excessive for a pedal to be on for maybe a minute at a time. The enclosure is plastic, not a fan, but it is reflected in the price. Not too happy with where the power jack is located, seems to interfere with my cable. Overall decent pedal if you can find one used, but there are better options out there.

This pedal does its job, and it's decent because of its low price. The only downside that I have noticed so far is that it does not pick up my guitar immediately, so there is a 3 second or so lag. The build quality is good too, so as long as you don't abuse it, it should last you. Overall, I would recommend it over a more expensive tuner.

If you're just in your basement, get a clip on tuner for your head stock it'll be better then this. But if you're a gigging musician spend the extra 50$ and get a boss, korg,tc. Anything but this trust me. Got it as a gift not worth it thats for sure.

I've been using this pedal for over 2 years now, initially bought to counter the higher pricing of tuner pedals such as the Boss TU-2 (now the TU-3) which was/is the de facto standard pedal tuner at the time. Functionally, this does what the Boss pedal does except that the tracking is considerably slower and requires constant picking of the note and often waiting for the pitch to register to a frustrating degree. I've learned to live with that. It's also housed in a much less rugged plastic casing which is OK in a stationary position on a pedalboard. What I can't live with, however, are the inferior input/output jacks (and this applies to the other Behringer pedals I've owned). At EVERY gig I've played since I bought the pedal, the guitar jack has come loose and popped out part-way, often in the middle of a song. Granted, I may bang into the pedalboard in the course of moving around onstage, but this wouldn't even be an issue with a proper jack like on the Boss or virtually any other manufacturer's pedal. Imagine the jack popping out of your guitar everytime you plucked a string. Ridiculous, right? This is why I am replacing the Behringer on my pedalboard. Obviously, you can't lose your signal in the middle of a performance and this is never something a musician should ever have to get used to. The Behringer will now be relegated to the home studio or put up for sale in the classifieds. Performing musicians: spend the extra money and get the Boss, Korg, TC Electronics or just about anything else to do the job.

I have used the Behringer TU300 Tuner Pedal for a long time. It has been a reliable and durable pedal. Even with it's plastic body I have found the TU300 a strong pedal as I have dropped it before and it was fine, not even a crack. Value wise, for $25.00 the TU300 is great! a quater is the price of a Boss TU-3 tuner it does a great job. The TU-3 is still a great pedal however.
