Got this guitar for my 10-year-old to start music lessons. He loves it and so do I. Sounded a little dull at first (God knows how long the strings were on it in the shop). Changed the strings for some Elixir lights and it was like a different guitar. Beautiful sounding, great resonance, and my son wants to play this more than his electric! I'm a huge fan of Seagull, and now equally of S&P. Just amazing value for an instrument of this quality and price.

The Resonance of this guitar is incredible, plays great, the truss rod inside allows great adjustment to suit your hands. Extremely light and compact, the perfect little Blues guitar, for finger picking and essential to any one who wants a great guitar. If you want that $2000 Martin Compact but don't care about the Name on the label, then this is for you. You honestly don't need the Martin. My only issue with it is that is too quiet for intense playing AND singing at the same time, but it's a small body guitar so that isn't what it's meant for. The neck and strings also felt slinky and cheap out of the box, but a truss rod adjustment cured that completely, this is a first rate high quality instrument, with great sound and character.

I went to all major musical instruments store and decided to go in with an open mind, to leave my preconceived ideas at the door. I was on the market for a smaller body acoustic guitar. I played them all, regardless of price. I would buy the one that felt the best, sounded the best, and inspired me to play the most. Everything from the sound that comes out of this little guitar, the sustain, resonance and balance is so impressive! Much more than some guitars selling for ten times the price. The neck is probably the most comfortable I have ever played, and the low action and perfect intonation straight out of the box made me giggle in disbelief! Vibratos and bends are also effortless. How does Godin do this? This guitar makes me sound way better than I actually am, and it just shines whether you strum, flatpick or play fingerstyle - the latter being absolute delight. That was it for me! There was no way I was going home without this guitar. And at that price, I did like the lady in the IKEA commercial: Once paid, I ran outside the store and yelled to my wife - "Start the car!!!" And if that was not enough, this is a 100% Canadian guitar, designed here, built here, from trees grown here. I can very well see myself adding a few guitars from the Godin family on my wall!

This guitar has a really nice loud sound to it. Very comfy to play. And its very cheap. It sounds like it would be between $1000-2000, but its only $350. Amazing guitar
