This bass clarinet is similar to the Vito L7168, I have tried both and they are great. It seems as though the Selmer has a slight issue tho. The screw that keeps the right hand keys for your index, middle, and ring fingers together keeps unscrewing itself after large amounts of use. I would recommend getting a jeweler's screwdriver set, if you do not already have one, to screw it back in place (but not too tight as it can cause the keys to not move freely). Other than that, it is a great student bass clarinet.

Okay so I used this one for my elementary band, so it was used a lot by other kids. There was only one tab that kept coming un screwed, but that was only important if you wanted to play the B flat scale. This is a great instrument for beginners, my high school even had them and definitely took better care of them. No complaints what so ever
