I bought two of these because I needed condensers to mic a 22 piece children's choir. These worked very well. The voices were clear and natural sounding. I also have used one to mic a tenor sax and the other as an overhead mic for my drum kit for recordings. Again the results were very good. The option of using a 9volt battery as phantom power is a great feature, as is the recessed power switch. And they seem solidly built as well. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would easily recommend them.
