I needed a jamming amp to visit friends. I love my JVM combo, but it's a beast. This little puppy sounds fantastic.Other than loose inputs, it's well made. Having to buy the pricey foot pedal, separately, was my only beef, but you need it. Yes I would recommend it to a friend.

I took this 15 watt amp to the wife test, started off nice and soft she was smilin', then I cranked it, tried all it's features, I'm banished to the basement needless to say now I'm smilin'. This little amp has real Marshall tone. You could gig withit in a small to medium room no problem. I say give if a try at your nearest dealer you'll be bringing it home.

Bought this in combination with an Epiphone ES 335 Pro about a month ago. Found the owner's manual on line and started playing around with it. Good sound options and ease of use. Excellent sound for a small amp. Definitely recommend for the newbie or someone looking for a smaller amp.

I prefer tube amps, but I've been looking for a light, portable, good sounding solid state amp for personal practice for quite a few years. I've tried the Fender Mustang I, Vox, Line 6 and Traynor amps in this class. They all model a number of different amps, but only do one or two fairly well. The gradations of crunch leave a lot to be desired. But this Marshall does only itself, and it sounds fantastic! Do yourself a favour and try it out and compare before you buy.
