I've played electric guitar for 15 years now.. I decided two days ago I wanted a bass and started shopping around.. Saw bass and fell in love with the neck profile, the scale length and the overall appearance.. For $349.99 I didn't expect much and with low expectations I was very happily surprised by this model.. Tonality is beautiful it's extremely loud and tears through my lead and rhythm tones to give them a nice clean undertone I generally play metal so louder is better.. Neck dimensions, 34 inches and beautifully asymmetrical it's not at all chunky or awkward to play in comparison to the other basses I've played, Ibanez, Stingray.. This one has a uniquely thin and lightning fast neck I'm not sure I like the fact that the truss rod is under the cover at the bottom but I shouldn't need to access that very often.. Tuning heads are sensitive and extremely accurate they don't appear to lose tuning in heavy picking scenarios.. Pickups sound great, clear with just the right amount of treble play with the knobs if you keep clip your amp.. The bridge is usually the part of these guitars I'm quick to tear apart and hate but again this bass surprised me and I actually love where the bridge is on the body of it.. it feels naturally comfortable.. Last but not least I just want to point out I haven't found a flaw with this bass yet.. Coming from guitars which don't too often sell for under $800 it's a nice surprise to see a bass this nice this cheap. It's well made and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a bass.. I walked into the Brampton Long & McQuade played the bass for maybe 45 seconds and decided I wanted it. Best bass I've played yet pick one up and play it you'll fall in love too.
