I bought this guitar because I was wanting a resonator guitar. I also loved the fact it has a decent pickup in it. I tried the boxcar, also made by Gretsch. It is also nice , but the steel sound and pickup tipped the scale for me. Definitely a nicely built guitar and would recommend it for any slide/blues playing.
