Played a show where these were used, and many said the vocal sounded awesome that night. While that venue has the switched version (e865S), moving parts can only screw up so I got this one instead . Had another vocalist use it that same night and he thought it was the best he ever sounded. With a flat EQ it's natural with just a bit of punch, and it rarely feeds back. Simply awesome, it's the only live mic I'll ever need, my beta is now a backup.
